HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-7-2280402 ORDINANCE NO. 82-7-2280 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTIONS 12-59 THROUGH 12-63 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, in Section 12-59 through 12-63, regulates the sale of fireworks, and WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky has adopted a comprehensive regulation of fireworks within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, pursuant to KRS 227.700, and WHEREAS, since the Commonwealth of Kentucky has adopted a comprehensive fireworks regulation, it is -not necessary for the City of Paducah to regulate the sale of fireworks. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 12-59 through 12-63, in Chapter 12, Fire Prevention and Protection, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, are hereby repealed in their entirety. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of a certified summary hereof. John K.
