ORDINANCE NO. 83-2-2358
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH COMMON-
WEALTH OF KENTUCKY, FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION CABINET', FOR A PORTION OF THE CITY
HALL ANNEX BUILDING
WHEREAS, the former office of the Probation and Parole Office re-
cently burned, and
WHEREAS, it is.the desire of the Board of Commissioners to lease a
portion of the City Hall Annex, if certain terms and conditions are agreed
upon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to execute an Lease with
Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Probation'and
Parole Department, said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof, as
if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. Due to the necessity of re-establishing a Paducah office
for the Probation and Parole Department of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect immediately upon its passage with one reading.
