ORDINANCE NO. 83-2-2354
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY TREASURER.TO PAY WHAYNE
SUPPLY COMPANY THE SUM OF $5,000.00, FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO A 1975 FORD
FRONT END LOADER FOR THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorized to pay
Whayne Supply Company the sum of $5,000.00, for emergency repairs to a 1978
Ford front end loader for the Refuse Department.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No.
10-500-440-309.
SECTION 3.. Since Whayne Supply Company is the only authorized
dealer who can make these repairs, and any delays would significantly impair
the operations of the Refuse Department, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full-force'and effect upon its passage
at one reading.
