ORDINANCE NO. 83-1-2349
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $10,545.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1983 BRONCO II TRUCK, FOR USE BY THE
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, in the amount of $10,545.00 for one new 1983 Bronco II truck, for use by the
Engineering Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on December 28, 1982, and as contained in the bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda, dated January 6, 1983.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Allan
Rhodes Ford & Honda, for sale to the City of the 1983 Bronco II truck authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be charged to Account
Number 10-500-150-494.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
