ORDINANCE NO. 83-1-2346
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $3,215.21 TO AMIS ROTO -
ROOTER SEWER SERVICE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST
WHEREAS, the existing sewer line to city hall and the city jail
collapsed; and
WHEREAS, it was impossible to use the building without said sewer
line being repaired immediately:.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorized to pay
to Amis Roto -Rooter Sewer Service, the sum of $3,215.21 for repair of said
sewer system.
SECTION 2. That Account No. 10-500-160-257 shall be charged with
the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. In order to expedite the payment'of this bill, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect upon passage at one reading.
