ORDINANCE NO. 83-1-2345
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN EASEMENT WITH
CHRISTINE ALLISTON
.WHEREAS, Christine Alliston is the owner of certain property, in
Paducah, Kentucky, adjoining property owned by the City of Paducah, -and
WHEREAS, Ms. Alliston was formerly holder of an easement across
the property, ,and
WHEREAS, certain construction in the area has caused Ms. Alliston
to be unable to have access onto her property by way of the previous ease-
ment, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Alliston is desirous of obtaining an easement across
said property and the City is desirous of granting same, for the purpose of
providing a roadway for ingress and egress to said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into an easement
with Christine Alliston, for the use of a strip of land twelve (12) feet in
width lying on the northeasterly side of North 6th Street, southeast of
Burnett Street in the City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky; and more
particularly described in the easements attached hereto and made a part
thereof as if set out in full herein.
SECTION 2. Said easements shall be approved by the Mayor and the
Corporation Counsel.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
