HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-7-2265376 ORDINANCE NO. 82-7-2265 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JERRY WYATT CONSTRUCTION TO -SUPPLY THE CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF GRAVEL FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, FOR THE SUM OF $3.55 PER CUBIC YARD,. DELIVERED TO 10TH AND BURNETT STREETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT..FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That.the City of Paducah accept the bid of Jerry Wyatt Construction for furnishing. the City's requirement of gravel for a period of one year, for the sum of $3.55 per cubic yard, delivered to 10th and Burnett Streets in the City; -said bid being.in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids--as-was authorized by the Board of Commissioners on -,May 25, 1982 -,-and as contained in the bid of Jerry Wyatt Construction, dated June 6, 1982. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Jerry Wyatt -Construction, for purchase of the gravel authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said gravel shall be charged to General Fund Accounts and/or Revenue Sharing Accounts as follows: Contingency Fund; Contract Repair Construction; Flood Construction; Street Repair and Construction; Rental Equipment; Sanitary Sewers; Storm Sewers; Expansion & Development; Street -Paving & Construction and Sewer Depreciation and Extension Account. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. John K.
