ORDINANCE NO. 82-6-2250
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1. OF ORDINANCE N0: 82-6-2245,
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $8,478.42 TO YORK DIVISION OF BORG-WARNER
CORPORATION, FOR MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES IN REPAIRING THE HEATING - COOLING
SYSTEM OF PADUCAH CITY HALL
WHEREAS, a breakdown of the heating - cooling system of City Hall
building recently occurred, and
WHEREAS, York.Divis.ion.of Borg-Warner Co.rporation.is the only
supplier of parts for said heating - cooling system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY -THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 82-6-2245,�be amended
and reordained so that said section shall hereafter read as follows:
1PSection 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a contract
with York Division of Borg-Warner Corporation, for the sum of (49;478:4T
$9,272.28 for materials and supplies in repairing the heating - cooling
system of the City Hall building".
SECTION 2. That Account No. -10-500-160-232 shall be charged with
the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. Due to the necessity of repairing the cooling system of
the City Hall building, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon one reading.
