ORDINANCE NO. 82-6-2246
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
CONRAD HEIGHTS TREATMENT PLANT, INC., FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO PURCHASE ALL OF
THE PERSONAL PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE OR INTEREST IN REAL ESTATE OF CONRAD HEIGHTS
TREATMENT PLANT, INC., FOR THE SUM OF $40,000.00
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has annexed the area serviced by Conrad Heights
Treatment Plant, Inc., and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Paducah to supply city sewer service
at city rates to the property serviced by the Conrad Heights Treatment Plant, Inc.,
and
WHEREAS, Conrad Heights Treatment Plant, Inc., is desirous of selling to the
City all of its personal property and real estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
Conrad Heights Treatment Plant, Inc. for the purchase of all personal property,
(this does not include cash or receivables of Conrad Heights Treatment Plant, Inc.)
real estate and any interest therein, by the City of'Paducah from Conrad Heights
Treatment Plant, Inc., for the following consideration:
(a) The City shall pay to Conrad Heights Treatment Plant,
Inc., the sum of $40,000 upon completion of the contract.
(b) Any unimproved lots owned by the estate of Martin Conrad,
or the heirs or devisees of Martin Conrad, serviced by..
the Conrad Heights Treatment.Plant, Inc. and owned by
them on July 1, 1982, shall not pay to the City of
Paducah any tap -on fee for connecting to the service
lines presently owned by Conrad Heights Treatment Plant,
Inc. The person requesting the tap -on however, shall be
responsible for all costs in completing the tap -on
including all service lines, plumbing fees and any other
expenses incurred in installing the service line in
tapping into the Treatment system.
(c) The contract shall be effective July 1, 1982.
SECTION 2. The contract between the City of Paducah and Conrad Heights
Treatment Plant, Inc., referred to in Section 1 above, shall be approved by the
Corporation Counsel and the Mayor.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective upon publication of title and a
certified summary thereof.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 81-11-2172," ENTITLED, AN ORDINANCE
ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1981
THROUGH JUNE 30, 1982, BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT"
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the 1981-82 budget, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed such amended budget and made
necessary modifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
1981 and ending June 30, 1982 is hereby amended as follows:
