ORDINANCE NO. 82-6-2243
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 82-4-2231 ENTITLED, "AN
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH LEO BROOKING
FOR THE PURCHASE OF QUARTZ LIGHT FIXTURES, JUNCTION BOXES, BULBS AND LAMPS TO
BE INSTALLED AT THE NOBLE PARK BALLFIELD"
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 82-4-2231, authorizing the Mayor to
enter into a contract with Leo Brooking, for the purchase and installation of
quartz light fixtures, junction boxes, quartz 1500 watt bulbs and quartz
lamps to be installed at the ballfield in Noble Park, be amended.
SECTION 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 82-4-2231 is hereby
amended to read as follows: The aforesaid expenditure shall be paid from the
following accounts: up to $6,254.56 is to be paid from Account No.
10-500-610-371 for the purchase of lamps; and up to ($47468:89) $6,168.80
shall be paid from Account No. 10-500-610-525 for the purchase of light
fixtures, junction boxes and bulbs.
SECTION 3. Since this work has been completed and payment is
overdue, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect upon one reading.
