ORDINANCE NO. 82-6-2242
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN ENCROACHMENT
AGREEMENT WITH McDONALD'S
WHEREAS, McDonald's has opened a restaurant located at 224 Lone
Oak Road, in Paducah, Kentucky, and
WHEREAS, this location does not provide sufficient parking for
employees and customers, and
WHEREAS, McDonald's has requested from the City of Paducah,
permission to use an 80 foot strip of land designated as a street
reservation for employee, parking..,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to,enter into an
encroachment agreement with. McDonald's, to use an 80 foot strip of land
directly in back of their restaurant located at 2124 Lone Oak Road, for
employee parking.
SECTION 2. Said agreement shall be approved by the Mayor and the
Corporation Counsel, and shall contain all provisions set forth in a letter
from Mr. Clyde T. Love, owner - operator of McDonald's, to Mayor Penrod
dated May 18, 1982. Said letter is attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if set out in full herein.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
