HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-5-2235321 ORDINANCE NO. 82-5-2235 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO A PROPOSED HIGHWAY PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PERTAINING TO A TRAFFIC AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY WHEREAS, the Kentucky Department of Transportation, Bureau of Highways (hereinafter referred to as "Bureau".)..has caused to -be constructed the Highway Project known as Paducah Riverfront Access Route in the City of Paducah, (hereinafter referred to as "City") and described as follows: Beginning at the Beltline Highway. (US 60, -US 62) .and extending. via Wayne Sullivan Drive, 3rd Street, 4th Street, Clay .Street and Park Avenue to H. C. Mathis Drive and US 60, and WHEREAS, the City recognizes that certain traffic regulations will berequiredby the construction of the project within the city limits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into an Agreement (designated as TD11-39) with the Bureau of Highways, said contract is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full therein; regulating traffic on the Riverfront Access Road in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. John K.
