ORDINANCE NO. 82-4-2228
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WEST KENTUCKY EQUIPMENT CO., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $25,772.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF A CASE 580D BACKHOE, FOR USE BY THE,
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of West Kentucky
Equipment Co., Inc., in the.amount of $25,772.00 for sale to the City of a Case 580D
Tractor Loader/ Backhoe, for use by the Street Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the, bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners. on March 23, 1982,
and as contained in the bid of West Kentucky Equipment Company, dated April 7, 1982.
SECTION 2. That.the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with West Kentucky Equipment Company, for sale to the City of the backhoe
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said backhoe shall be charged to Account
Number 20-500-330-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
