ORDINANCE NO. 82-4-2226
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 2-29, GROUP MEDICAL
INSURANCE, GENERALLY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -section Ca) of Section 2-29, Group Medical Insurance,
Generally, of the Code of Ordinances be amended so that said sub -section shall
hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 2-29 - (a). All permanent, full-time employees and officers of the
City of Paducah and any retired members of the police or fire departments who elect
to continue in this group are hereby constituted a group for the purpose of obtaining
the advantages of a group .medical insurance plan. -Such insurance may be procured
upon an application or contract which shall be signed for and on behalf of the City
of Paducah by the mayor thereof, and such group insurance shall continue to be in
force as to each -member of said group so long us his or her employment continues, and
so long as he or she elects to have a single or family plan".
SECTION 2.. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
