ORDINANCE NO. 82-4- 2224
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE AGREEMENT WITH PADUCAH HIGHLAND TERRACE,
WHEREAS, Highland Terrace Ltd has completed all of its obligations
set forth in the Agreement dated December 8, 1981, and
WHEREAS, the City is in possession of a performance bond in the sum
of $10,000 and it is the desire of the City and Highland Terrace-, Ltd. to
amend the contract dated December 8, 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized to enter into an agreement with
Highland Terrace, Ltd. to amend the agreement dated December 8, 1981. In
consideration of said decision Highland Terrace Ltd. is to pay the City of
Paducah the sum of $5,000 and the City will release Highland Terrace, Ltd.
from any obligation contained in Paragraph 5 in the posting of a performance
bond.
SECTION 2. Due to the need to complete this transaction as soon as
possible, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the reading of this
ordinance at two separate meeting is hereby suspended.
