ORDINANCE NO. 82-1-2190
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$52,762.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1982 MOBILE SWEEPER FOR USE BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1'. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Manning Equipment
Inc, in the amount of - $52, 762.-'00 for sale 'to the City 'of one riew' 1982 Mobil— Sweeper
for use by the Street Department.,. said -bid being in substantial,compliance with the
bid specifications and advertisement for bids -as was authorized by_Municip.al :Order.
passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 24, 1981, and as contained in--the,-
bid
n-_the_bid of Manning Equipment, Inc., dated December 8, 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with Manning Equipment Inc. for sale to the City of the street sweeper
authorized in Section'l above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore -approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said street sweeper shall be charged to
Account.Number 002-017-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance.shall be read on..two-separate days_ and,wA1.l. be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
