At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Conference Room in the
Commission Chambers at City Hall at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2002, Mayor Paxton
presided, and upon call of the roll by the Assistant City Clerk, the following answered to
their names: Commissioners Abraham, Coleman, Montgomery and Mayor Paxton (4).
Commissioner Smith arrived later in the meeting.
MOTION
R & F NOTICES
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Mayor Paxton, that the Notices of
Called Meeting for the Board of Commissioners for 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2002,
be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Abraham, Coleman, Montgomery, and
Mayor Paxton (4).
Commissioner Smith arrived at this time.
MUNICIPAL ORDERS
ADOPT TABLE 2 NON -CIVIL SERVICE PAY SCHEDULE
Commissioner Montgomery offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that a
Municipal Order entitled, "A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING TABLE 2,
CLASSIFICATIONS/PAY SCHEDULE, NON -CIVIL SERVICE, POLICE AND FIRE,"
be adopted.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Abraham, Coleman, Montgomery,
Smith, and Mayor Paxton (5).
The Budget Workshop began.
