HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-3-2218296 ORDINANCE NO. 82-3-2218 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $2,840.55 TO REED CRUSHED STONE" COMPANY, INC., AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract with Reed Crushed Stone Company, Inc., for the purchase of approximatell, 489.75 tons of crushed limestone, at a price of $5.80 per ton delivered. SECTION 2. That Account No. 20-500-330-354 shall be charged with the aforesaid expenditure. SECTION 3. Due to the City's need for limestone and the previous contract having expired, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the reading of this ordinance at two separate meetings is hereby suspended.
