ORDINANCE NO. 82-2-2214
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA, FOR SALE TO
THE CITY OF TWO NEW 1983 PICKUP TRUCKS FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, for sale to the City of two 1983 Ford Ranger pickup trucks, for the sum of
$7,383.00 for one and the sum of $7,955.00 for the other, making a total of
$15,338.00 for use by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal
Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 12, 1982, and as contained in
the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda, dated January 25, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda for sale to the City of the pickup trucks
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said pickup trucks shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 10-500-330-314.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
