HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-2-2210P4.1161 ORDINANCE N.O.82-2-2210 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TRI-STATE PROPANE, INC., FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PROPANE AND CONVERSION KITS, FOR USE BY VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS; LEASING TO THE CITY OF A LIQUID TRANSFER SYSTEM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Tri-State Propane, Inc, for sale to the City of propane and conversion kits at the following prices: $990.00 each for pick-up truck, $1,355.00 each for automobiles with dual fuel tanks, $1,155.00 each for automobiles with single tank; a monthly charge of $135.00 for lease of a Liquid Transfer System; and .61.4 per gallon for propane, for use by various Departments, said .bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on December 8, 1981, and as contained in the bid of Tri-State Propane, Inc., dated January 6, 1982. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Tri-State Propane, Inc., for sale to the City of the propane and conversion kits authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said propane and conversion kits shall be charged to the Auto Repair Accounts of the Street, Refuse, Inspection, Maintenance, Police, Park and Vehicle Maintenance Departments; and the propane shall be charged to fuel accounts of said Department. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. John K.
