AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA FOR SALE TO THE
CITY OF ONE LTD S 4 -DOOR AUTOMOBILE .FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, for sale to the City of one LTD S 4 -door automobile for use by the Police
Department, for the sum of_$8,676.00; said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by -an
advertisement in The Paducah Sun on February 3, 1982, and as contained in the bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda, dated February 10, 1982.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda for the automobile authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobile shall be charged to
Account No. 002-009-22.
SECTION 4. Due to one police auto being demolished in an accident
recently, an emergency is declared to exist and the second reading and publication
are hereby waived and this ordinance shall be in full force from and after its
adoption according to law.
