HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-2-2207282 ORDINANCE NO. 82-2-2207 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 60, WEST OF I-24 AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on January 4, 1982, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON Highway 60, West of I-2411, be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-11, High Density Residential Zone to M-1., Light Industrial Zone: PARCEL B. Beginning at a point in the westerly right of. way line of Interstate Highway 24, the northeasterly corner of the Ward parcel; thence north 550 55 minutes 22 seconds west 351.9 feet; thence north 560 23 minutes 14 seconds west 705.65 feet; thence north 410 8 minutes 26 seconds east 1553.59 feet to a point in the easterly right of way line of Interstate Highway 24; thence south 40 38 minutes 58 seconds west and with said right of way line 1763.63 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5. Due to an oversight in submitting this zoning request to the City Commission subsequent to the January 4, 1982 approval by the Planning Commission, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the second reading and publication are hereby waived and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption according to law.
