HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-2-2205279 ORDINANCE NO. 82-2-2205 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DR. WILLIAM JACKSON FOR PERMISSION TO CONNECT TO THE CITY SEWER SYSTEM AND DETERMINING THE RATES THEREFOR WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 32-46 "Determination of rates for premises outside city limits", the City of Paducah has determined it is in the best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare of the citizens and inhabitants of the City of Paducah to approve the application of Dr. William Jackson, for connection with the City's sewer system on Berger Road, and WHEREAS, Section 32-46 also provides that the Board of Commissioners shall determine reasonable terms and conditions as to sanitary sewer service charges, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners now desires to fully comply with the aforesaid Section 32-46. NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the application of Dr. William Jackson to connect with the sewer system on Berger Road be, and the same is hereby, approved as being in the best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare of the citizens and inhabitants of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2. That Dr. William Jackson shall pay a sewer rate that is equal to the regular rates that are charged to similar users of the sewer system that are located within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah plus forty (400) per cent. SECTION 3. Dr. Jackson shall be billed for his sewer service charge in the same manner as all other regular users of the City Sewer System which are located within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective upon publication in full. John K.
