HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-2-2201270 ORDINANCE NO. 82-2-2201 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN ADDITIONAL 200 TONS OF ROAD SALT, FROM MORTON SALT COMPANY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION .1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract with Morton Salt Company, for the purchase of an additional 200 tons of road salt, for the sum of $23.47 per ton. SECTION 2. That Account -No; 10-500-330-312 shall be charged with the aforesaid expenditure. SECTION 3... Due to the present supply of salt being depleted, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the reading of this ordinance at two separate meetings is hereby suspended. John K.
