ORDINANCE NO. 81-12-2187
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE- OFFER OF CHARLES L. VICK, ROUTE #5, BOX 299A,
BENTON, KENTUCKY 42025, TO PURCHASE PROPERTY LOCATED. AT THE CORNER OF HAYS AND
YEISER STREET'S IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, J<RMCKy:
,SECTION_ 1. That. the offer of Charles, L. Vick to purchase a 151-x 150'
strip of property located at the corner of Hays and Yeiser Streets, in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky,,for the_.sim of $200.00 be accepted, said land being described as
follows:
Being the_southeriy 15' of -Lot 1, Block 3 of Mechanicsburg
Addition and more particularly described as beginning at the
intersection of the dividing., line between Lot 1 -and Lot 2 (Block
3) and the east right -of -way -line of Hays Avenue; thence in a
northerly direction along the east right-of-way of Hays Avenue a
distance of 15' to the south right-of-way line of Yeiser Street;
thence in an easterly direction along the south right -of --way line
Of Yeiser Street a distance of 170' to a point in the west
right-of-way line of a 20' alley; thence in a southerly direction
along the west rightrof-way line of said 20' alley a distance of
15' to a point in the dividing line of Lot 1 and Lot 2; thence in
a westerly direction along the dividing line between Lot 1 and
Lot 2 a distance of 170' to the point of beginning.
Being part of the same property conveyed to the City of Paducah
by J.. -M.- Cochran and wife, Katherine, dated the 15th day. of May,
1972 as recorded in Deed Book 540, Page 358, in the McCracken
County. Court Clerk's Office.
SECTION 2.. Upon the payment of the sum of $200.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Charles L.
Vick, all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in.
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified su ory thereof.
