AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF
$28,688.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1982 HEIL FORMULA 800 33 -YARD FRONT
LOADING REFUSE BODY FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECU'T'E A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Manning Equipment
Inc, in the amount of $28,688.00 for one new 1982 Heil Formula 8000 33 -yard Front
Loading Refuse Body for use by the Refuse Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 13, 1981, and as
contained in the bid of Manning Equipment, Inc., dated November 2, 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with Manning Equipment Inc. for sale to the City of the Refuse Body
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said pickup truck shall be charged to
Account Number 002-018-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
