HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-12-2182ORDINANCE NO. 81-12-2182 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 81-10-2152, ACCEPTING THE BID OF JEFFERSON INSURANCE COMPANY, PROVIDING LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, BY ADDING THE AUXILIARY POLICE FORCE, AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $900.00. WHEREAS, on October 12, 1981, the City of Paducah adopted an ordinance awarding a contract for police liability insurance to Jefferson Insurance Company, and WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City to add the auxiliary police, consisting of fourteen (14) members to the liability coverage, and WHEREAS, the cost of said coverage shall not exceed the sum of $900.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the quote of Jefferson Insurance Company to provide liability insurance for the Paducah Auxiliary Police Force, for a sum not to exceed $900.00 per year, for all fourteen (14) members of the Auxiliary Police Force. SECTION 2. That the -Mayor be,and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Jefferson Insurance Company for liability insurance for the Auxiliary Police as authorized in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said liability insurance shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 002-009-80. SECTION 4.
