ORDINANCE NO. 81-11-2176
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $43,573.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1982 CT -800 FRONT END LOADER TRUCK FOR
USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, in the amount of $43,573.00, for sale to the City of a 1982 CT -8000 front end
loader truck to be used by the Refuse Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on October 13, 1981, and as
contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated November 6, 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of the front end
loader authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents -heretofore approved and -incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be -charged to Account
No. 002-018-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
