That -the Mayor and City Treasurer be, and -they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay a sum not to --exceed $6,-500.00,-to•Kentucky Machinery, Inc., for repairs -to the Fiat -Allis Crawler Tractor.used.on-the landfill. SECTION 2. That Account No. 001-018-22 shall be charged with the aforesaid expenditure. SECTION 3. Due to the necessity of repairing the equipment so refuse can - be covered daily an emergency •is hereby -declared to exist and the reading of this ordinance at two separate meetings is hereby suspended. SECTION 4. This ordinance.shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
