ORDINANCE NO. 81-10-2166
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FERGERSON AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLY, INC., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $3,660.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW DRUM DISC LATHE, FOR USE BY THE
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
KENTUCKY:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Fergerson Automotive
Supply, Inc., in the amount of -$3,66:0.00 for-one'new-drum disc lathe, for use .by the
Vehicle Maintenance Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners -on September 22, 1981, and as contained in the bid of
Fergerson Automotive Supply, Inc:; dated October 7; 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and -he is"hereby-; authorized to'execute a
contract with-Fergerson Automotive Supply., Inc., for -sale to the City of the fi64 drum
disc lathe authorized in Section l above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said drum disc lathe shall be charged to
Account Number 002-005-501-94, Contingency Fund.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
