AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF BILL SOUTH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF TWO SECTIONS OF THE MARKET HOUSE ROOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of Bill South
Construction Company for removal and replacement -of two -sections, -of the -Market House
Roof, for the sum of $20,210.00; said proposal being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications -and advertisement for proposal8 as wasauthorizedby Order
passed by the Board of -Commissioners on September 22,: 1981, arid -as contained in the
proposal of Bill South Construction Company, dated' -October 23, 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to'execute a
contract with Bill South Construction Company for removal and replacement of the
Market House Roof authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications; bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
proposal.
-SECTION 3. The purchase price for said roof removal and replacement shall
be charged to Account No. 002-029-574-99.
SE-CTION 4:- -Due to the -need of obtaining a-newroof.befoxe.winter, an
emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage at one reading.
