ORDINANCE NO. 81-10-2158
AN ORDINANCE_ACCEPTING THE.,BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $7,234.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY,OF ONE NEW 1.982 FAIRMONT SEDAN FOR USE BY THE
PARKS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A.CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY.OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1., That the City„of Paducah accept the bid .of.Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, in the amount .of $7,234.00,_ for sale to the .City of a 1982 Fairmont sedan for
use by the Parks Department, said ,bid being in,substantial compliance with -the -bid
specifications and advertisement forbids as. was authorized_by Municipal Order„passed
by the Board of Commissioners on September 8, 1981, and as contained in the -bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated September 24, 1981_.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor -be, and he is hereby, authorized to. execute a
contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for.sale to -the City. of the sedan
authorized in Section 1, above, according_to the..spec.ifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said.sedan shall be .charged to Account
No. 001-023-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of'title and a certified summary thereof.
