ORDINANCE NO. 81-10-2157
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $6,987.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1982 PICKUP TRUCK FOR USE BY THE PARKS
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION !. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, in the amount of $6,987.00 for one new 1982 pickup truck for use by the
Parks Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for as'was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on September 8, 1981, and as contained in the bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated September 24, 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of the pickup truck
authorized in -Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said pickup truck shall be charged to
Account Number 001-023-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
