ORDINANCE NO. 81-10-2155
__AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BLD OF RUDD CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT CO., INC., IN
THE AMOUNT -OF $37,513.00, FOR SALE TO -THE -CITY -OF ONENEWMOTOR GRADER, FOR USE BY
THE STREET DEPARTMENT,. AND. AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City.of_Paducah accept the bid of -Rudd Construction
Equipment Co.., Inc., in. the, amount of .$37,513.00 for one new motor grader, for use by
the Street_Department., said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid -
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on August 11, 1981, and as contained in the bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated August 25, 1981..
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, -authorized to execute a
contract with Rudd Construction Equipment, Inc., for sale to the City of the new
motor grader authorized in Section -1 above, accordin.g.to.the specifications, bid
proposal and all.contract documents heretofore_approved..and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said motor grader shall be charged to
Account Number 002-017-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon.publication.of title and a certified summary thereof.
