BOX 1011; PAJDUCAH, KENTUCKY', TO _PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE, -CITY- IN 919 MADISON ' STREET (STREET - -DEPARTMENT) , FOR THE SUNT OF $27, 500. 00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE. A WARRANTY DEED WHEREAS, by- Ordinance No. 81-7-2120, adopted by `the- Board of Com- missioners on July 14,- 1981, the Board authorized Jake Brown' to auction the property located at 919 Madison Street, and WHEREAS, said property was = auctioned on- September 100 1981. NOW;' :THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED- BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION L.` . That the offer of.: James William Harper, in the amount of $27,500-.'00 to purchase theinterest of the City in the following -descri a an in said City be accepted -S. -"said land being described as follows: TRACT I. Beginning at the, inters€ction -of the south' right-of-way dine of Harrison- Street., and-'the'west,r"ight-of-way fine -of 9th - Street; thence- in, a--southerly--direction-along the -west right m of -way line of • 9th Street a- distance- of. 163:25�feet to -'a point in the north right -of :way line' of- a:_'20 -166t alley,•thence in a ' westerly dir'ecti'on -along said -alley -north right-of-way line a distance of 140 feet, -,more ,or less,- to a -point in the east right -of -.way line- of ICG Railroad property; thencein a northerly direction along the ICG Railroad east -right-of-way, line a distance of -'188 feet, more or less, to: a point -in the south right-of-way line of Harrison Street; thence in an easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of Harrison Street a dis- tance of 47 feet, more or less, to the point- of beginning. Beginning at the intersection of the west right-of-way line of 9th. SECTION 2._ Upon the payment of the sum of. $27,500.00 to Jake Brown, the _Mayor and City -Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to James William Harper by warranty deed, all of the right, title and interest . of the City ., in the property described in Section 1' hereof.
