AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD & HONDA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $18,051.00, -FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW F-700 DUMP TRUCK WITH BED, FOR USE BY
THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE- A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION !. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford &
Honda, in theamount of $18,051.00 for one new 1982 F-700 dump truck with bed, .for
use by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners on August 11, 1981, and as contained in the bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated. August 25, 19.81.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of the dump truck with
bed authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and
all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said dump truck with bed shall be
charged to Account Number 002-017-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days.and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
