AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH
ILLINOIS CENTRAL GULF RAILROAD COMPANY AND TO PAY THE AMOUNT OF $1,350.00 UPON THE
EXECUTION OF SAME
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah enter into an easement agreement with
Illinois Central Gulf Railroad for two (2) 20 -foot permanent easements and pay the
amount of $1,350.00 upon execution of same.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute the
easement agreement with Illinois Central Gulf Railroad Company according to the
agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
SECION 3. The cost for said easements covered by this agreement shall be
charged to Sewer Depreciation and Extension Account.
SECTION 4. Due to the need to allow the construction of the Perkins Creek
Sanitary Sewer System to proceed on schedule, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this .ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage at one
reading.
