ORDINANCE NO. 81-8-2140
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND HONDA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $8428 PER UNIT, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWELVE.(12) 1982 FORD AUTOMOBILES,.
FOR USE BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
KENTUCKY:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford
and Honda, in the amount of $8428 each, or a total of $101,136.00 for twelve (12)
1982 LTD S 4 -door sedans, for use by the Paducah Police Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisementforbids as was
authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners, on July, 14, 1981,
and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated July 27, 1981.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor.be, and he is hereby., authorized to execute a
contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of the automobiles
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract .documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the.bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobiles shall be charged to
Account Number 002-009-14.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
