HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-8-2138159 ORDINANCE NO. 81-8-2138 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH ANGELS OF MERCY, INC. FOR PROVIDING AMBULANCE SERVICE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR A PERIOD OF TWELVE MONTHS FOR THE SUM OF $2,083.33 PER MONTH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Angels of Mercy, Inc. , for providing ambulance services to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, between the period of July 1, 1981 through June 30, 1982. The aforesaid amount shall be pay- able in twelve monthly installments of $2,083.33 each, which shall be made by the 10th of each month to the office of the Corporation. The City further agrees to lease to the Corporation the City's ambulance at a rental rate of One Dollar ($1.00) per month during the term of this contract. SECTION- 2:., That Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 29-565-99 shall be charged with the aforesaid expenditure. SECTION 3. Due to the need to continue ambulance service in the City of Paducah, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect and retroactive to July 1, 1981. /s/ John K.
