ORDINANCE NO. 81-8-2136
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-60 "CIVIL SERVICE" OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-60, Vehicle Maintenance Department, of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, be amended and reordained so that said section
as amended,and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 10-60. Vehicle Maintenance Department.
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positions in the
Vehicle Maintenance Department, and the salary of each position that shall be paid
upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of service in this position, and
upon recommendation of the City Manager:

(b) All positions of hourly employment shall be paid at the base hourly
rate for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months the rate
of pay shall be increased by $0.05 per hour; such increases to be made upon
recommendation of the City Manager".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of a certified summary hereof.
