HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-8-2132139 ORDINANCE NO. 81-8-2132 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH TILFORD PLUMBING & HEATING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $765,228.30, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE PERKINS CREEK INTERCEPTOR - PHASE 1, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, .KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Tilford Plumbing & Heating, Inc. for con- struction of the Perkins Creek Interceptor - Phase I, for the sum of $765,228.30, said bid being in substantial compliance with the advertisement for bids as published in The Paducah Sun on July 15, 1981. SECTION 2. That the Sewer System Depreciation & Extension Fund and the Sewer System Construction Fund shall be charged with the aforesaid expenditure. SECTION 3. Due- to the necessity of providing sewers for Kentucky Oaks Mall, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage at one meeting.
