AN- ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE. -OFFER OF 1 JOHN E- YOUNG- AND, WIFE,
MARLYNE YOUNG, 326 SOUTH 19TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE, INTEREST OF THE
CITY IN THE NORTHEAST --CORNER- .OF 19TH -AND CLARK STREETS,_ FOR THE SUM
OF $50.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE .MAYOR. AND CITY_ CLERK .TO: EXECUTE A QUIT-
CLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:.,
SECTION 1.._: That the.. offer of -John -E, Young .and wife, Marlyne Young,
in the amount of $50.09 to -.purchase_ the . interest of ,the_ City in _the _ following- de _,
scribed land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows:...:
Being.,a. ,part of, L -of 21.,in. Block 1.1. and more particularly described
as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the north right-of-way
line of Clark Street and the east right -of -way -.line of -19th- Street; _
thence in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of
19th.. Street. _a __distance _of ; . 74 feet; ..thence in- an easterly direction,
a distance of 146.83 feet to a point in the west right-of-wayline of
a 10 foot alley; . thence in. a southerly:- direction alang_,.said .alley..
west right-of-way line a distance of 19.68 feet to a point in the
north right-of-way line of Clark Street; thence in a westerly di-
rection along the north right-of-way line of Clark Street to the point
of beginning.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of Paducah by Charles
K. Wheeler, Mamie K. Wheeler, A. D. Heflin and Bettie Heflin, as
recorded October 16, 1924, in Deed Book 141, Page 291, in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2: Upon the- payment of -the sum -.of ..$50.00 to. the; City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are -hereby. authorized -and .dir.ectecl to convey to John E.
Young and wife, Marlyne-You.ng;,.,all of.the xi.ght,_.title and ;interest -of --the City in
the property described in Section -1 -hereof. _and that said -deed. of conveyance shall
be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any
state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
