AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CROWDUS MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING SERVICES FOR EVENT SET-UP SERVICES FOR THE ROBERT
CHERRY CIVIC CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
-- BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Crowdus Maintenance and
Cleaning Services in an amount not to exceed $42,600.00, which is $177.50 per event, for event
set-up services for the Robert Cherry Civic Center, said bids being in substantial compliance with
bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of Crowdus Maintenance and Cleaning Services,
of June 12, 2009. This is a two-year contract beginning July 15, 2009 and ending July 15, 2011
with the option to renew at the same price for three one-year terms.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Crowdus
Maintenance and Cleaning Services for event set-up services for the Robert Cherry Civic Center,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
