ORDINANCE NO. 81-7-2119
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED,
"AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE OPERATION OF"A
MUNICIPAL COLLEGE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH; KENTUCKY", WHICH WAS ADOPTED
BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON NOVEMBER 6, 1939, AND LAST AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 80-9-1984, ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 9, 1980
BE IT ORDAINED BY .THE :CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: -
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title above
quoted, which was adopted -by the Board of Commissioners on November 6, 1939,
and last amended on September 9, 1980, be further amended' -and reoidained so
that said section shall hereafter read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That Dr. Wally 0. Montgomery be appointed a member of the
Board of Trustees of the Paducah Junior College to fill the vacancy created by the
resignation-. of -Dr'. Leon Higdon, so that ,said ; Board of Trustees (appointed by ' the
City) as now constituted shall be composed of the following: Marshall E. Nemer,
Howard Z. Gray'.William A'.- Fei.ler,, Beasley Vaughn., Jack Rottgering, Dr. Walter
R. Johnson, Mrs. Robert Hassman, J. William Howerton, Joseph _H.. -Frarnptom,-'- .
Clay D. Zerby, H. C. Mathis and Dr. Wally 0. Montgomery.
Said Board of Trustees shall control the .municipal college in the City of
Paducah which has been established pursuant to - the provisions. of �KRS 165.160 to
165.200, and are to have all the powers given to them pursuant #o the provisions
of said statutes".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
