ORDINANCE NO. 81-6-2117
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 , ADMINISTRATION, OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH BY AMENDING SECTION 2-26,
MILITARY LEAVE
WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes, section 61.396 has been amended
by the state legislature, and
WHEREAS, it is .necessary to amend the ordinances to bring them in
conformity with stat6 ,.statutes .
NOW, THEREFORE ; BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE CITY OF : PADUCAH ,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION '1. That Section 2-26, Military Leave, is hereby amended to
read as follows:

employed on a full-time basis ma,nagier;-exrept--

entitled to military leave not to exceed fifteen (15) calendar days in each
calendar year, {-adelitiorr�o-roatatiYm-leave},= 'with6tit loss of time, pay,
regular leave,-mpairmexit 'of efficieincy rating, or of any other rights or
beriefits `t® 'which` thekjLre' entitled, for the purpose of attending training courses
of the United States Armed Forces or Kentucky National Guard. Such military
leave shall not in any event exceed the number of days actually required for
attendance at such training courses, including travel time to and from the place

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read"'on two separate days and
will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
