AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RON McINTOSH ELECTRIC FOR
ALL LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE II OF THE CITY JAIL
BE !T - "ORDAINED -9Y THE CITY-; OF PADUCAH, -KENTUCKY:
SECTION ° 1. That the City 'of Paducah accept thebid of Ron: McIntosh
Electric-, for all - labor and materials for construction of - Phase !I of the City Jail,
for the sum of $11,870.71; said bid being in substantial compliance With the bid
specifications and advertisement * as -was ";iuthoriz6d'by Municipal Order passed by
the Board of Commissioners on June 9, 1981, and as contained in the bid of Ron
McIntosh Electric; --datediJ un -e 19- 1981. -
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authoriz:ed to execute
a contract with Ron McIntosh Electric. for- - construction . of Phase II I of the City
Jail, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved -and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price -for said construction; shall.' be charged -to
General Fund, Contingency. -
SECTION 4. Since this construction was .- a prerequisite of -the'Commonwealth
of Kentucky for use of ..the jail, an -emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage at one reading.:
