ORDINANCE NO. 81-6-2109
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH XEROX CORPORATION, FOR THE PURCHASE OF A XEROX 3100 LDC COPIER
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah entered into a lease -purchase agree-
ment with Xerox Corporation on July 1, 1976, and
WHEREAS, the rent on said Xerox machine can no longer be applied
to the purchase price.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH ,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a contract
with Xerox Corporation for the purchase of a Xerox 3100 LDC Copier, for the,.
total sum of $3,843.00, plus a maintenance agreement of $69.00 per month.
SECTION 2. The purchase of this machine shall be- charged to
Account No. 01-0503, General Administration. _
SECTION 3. Pursuant to KRS 45A.380(11), this contract is for the
purchase of supplies at a reduced price that will afford the purchase of the
machine at a savings to the City of Paducah.
SECTION 4. The offer to purchase the above described machine is
limited to June 30, 1981, therefore, an emergency is declared to exist and .this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage at one reading.
