ORDINANCE NO. 81-6-2105
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH J. -PATRICK KERR TO PERFORM PLAN REVIEW SERVICES ON THE-
CAFARO-MALL PROJECT
WHEREAS, J. -J-. Cafaro Company is constructing a , mall at the inter-
section of I-24 and US 60; within the City- of Paducah, and
_ .. WHEREAS,- Kentucky Revised Statutes require the City of Paducah
to perforin -plan review on- construction plans for the mall, and
and
WHEREAS, the City of .Paducah is presently- without a plan reviewer,
WHEREAS, construction on the mall may be delayed if plans are not
reviewed immediately,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a contract
with J. Patrick Kerr to perform plan review services for the City of Paducah
on the mall being constructed by J. J. Cafaro Company, at the intersection of
I-24 and US 60, within the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2.' J. Patrick Kerr is to be, paid at the rate of $35.00 per
hour, to be billed monthly, with the total plan review services on this project
not to exceed the sum of $5,800.00.
SECTION 3. Due to the urgency of proper review of the plans for
the mall, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption. A summary of this
ordinance shall be published in The Paducah Sun.
