ORDINANCE NO. 81-6-2099
AN ORDINANCE . ACCEPTING THE BID OF BRADSHAW & WEIL , INC.
FOR INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR ' THE CITY OF PADUCAH FROM JULY 1, 1981
THROUGH JUNE 30, 1984
BE IT -ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION T The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract
with Bradshaw & Weil, Inc. for insurance coverage for the City of Paducah in the
sum of $84298A0 (as set forth in Section 2, below) .' 'Becatise of the nature of
insurance, the actual amount of premium may vary in accordance with changes
in items covered'. However � the base -rate - s per type `of coverage shall be in
effect'for- the term of the insurance.
SECTION 2. The term of insurance shall be for three (3) years on
the following risks: building and contents, `general liability, umbrella, equip-
ment, crime; earth qu_ake and public official liability. The term of insurance
for auto and'non-owned and hired -auto shall be one (1) year. ` The City reserves
the right to re -negotiate with Bradshaw & Weil, Inc. the auto and hon -owned and
hired auto coverage at the expiration of one (1) and two (2) years without re-
bidding such coverage. However;` the City `reserves the right to re -bid -the auto
and- not =owned and hired auto coverage.
The City -.Manager is hereby authorized to compute the exact monies
due Bradshaw & Weil, Inc. based on the bid specifications and bids and certify

the correct amount to the. City Treasurer for payment.
SECTION '3. Specifications and addendums of bids of Bradshaw &
Weil, Inc. are hereby made a part of this Ordinance as if set out in full.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
