AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE -BID OF EGYPTIAN CONCRETE
COMPANY , FOR SALE TO. ,THE CITY OF --PRECAST CONCRETE PIPE, AND: -
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH -PURCHASE
BE IT -ORDAINED - BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH , - KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of -Paducah accept the -negotiated bid
of Egyptian. Concrete Company,-. for -sale to the City of -precast concrete -:pipe
to be used in the construction- of the Kentucky Oak --Mall .lift -:station-,-. fors a'
sum . not to exceed $5, 500.00; -said negotiated bid being in substantial com
pliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 21,• 1981,
and contained in the -bid of- Egyptian -Concrete Company, dated May 1, 1981.
.-.SECTION Z.—That . -That the Mayor be, and he is-- hereby, authorized to-
execute. a .contract -..with Egyptian ConcreteCompanyfor the pipe authorized
in- Section- 1 above, .according to the specifications, bid proposal and all con--
- tract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SEC -TION 3: The -purchase. price -for said- pipe shall be charged to -
the Sewer. Depreciation and Extension Account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall =be read on two separate days -and
will. be effective upon publication of --title and a certified summary thereof.
